(Recurring Card Payments)
1. Membership & Acceptance
By joining Muscle Factory online or in person, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Online sign-up and payment constitutes acceptance of this agreement.
Membership is personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared under any circumstances.
2. Payments & Billing (Recurring Card Payments)
Membership fees are charged automatically to the payment card provided at the agreed billing interval.
It is the member’s responsibility to ensure sufficient funds and valid card details are maintained at all times.
If a payment fails:
Access may be suspended until payment is resolved
Repeated failed payments may result in cancellation of membership
Outstanding balances remain payable.
3. Cancellations
Memberships operate on a rolling basis and require 30 days notice to cancel.
Cancellations must be submitted via:
The Clubright member portal, or
Email to Muscle Factory management
Verbal cancellation requests are accepted but are not valid until recorded by management and confirmed to the member.
Social media messages, or messages to staff are not accepted.
No refunds are provided for unused membership time.
4. Freezes & Suspensions
Membership freezes are granted at management discretion, typically for medical reasons, and may require evidence. Holiday freezes are not guaranteed.
Muscle Factory reserves the right to suspend access due to unpaid fees, rule breaches, or misuse of facilities.
5. Access & Security
Access credentials (fobs, cards, codes) are issued for individual use only.
The following are strictly prohibited:
Sharing access credentials
Allowing tailgating
Granting access to non-members
Any misuse may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.
Lost or damaged access devices may incur a replacement fee.
6. Use of Facilities & Assumption of Risk
All members use the facilities and equipment entirely at their own risk.
Muscle Factory accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage sustained on the premises, except where required by law.
Members must use equipment correctly and follow all safety signage and staff instructions.
7. Health Declaration
By joining, members confirm they are physically fit to exercise and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions that may affect their ability to train safely.
Muscle Factory accepts no responsibility for injury resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.
8. Age Restriction
No person under the age of 16 is permitted to use the gym facilities.
9. Clothing & Footwear
Appropriate gym clothing and footwear must be worn at all times. Shirts and trainers are required at all times. Work boots, steel-toe boots, or footwear contaminated with dirt, oil, or debris are not permitted. Members may be asked to leave the premises if unsuitable footwear is worn.
10. Conduct & Behaviour
Members are expected to act respectfully towards staff and other members and to treat the building and equipment with care.
Aggressive, abusive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate removal and may lead to termination of membership without refund.
11. Mobile Phones, Filming & Photography
Mobile phones must be kept on silent.
Members may film or photograph their own workouts for personal use, provided this does not disturb other members, obstruct walkways or equipment, or encroach on another person’s personal space. Filming other members without their explicit consent is not permitted. Staff may ask filming to stop at any time if it is deemed disruptive or inappropriate.
Muscle Factory may record photography or video content for marketing or promotional purposes. Members may appear incidentally in such content.
12. Smoking, Alcohol & Substances
Smoking, vaping, alcohol consumption, and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises.
13. Personal Belongings
Lockers are provided for convenience only and are used at the member’s own risk.
Muscle Factory accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items. Items left overnight may be removed.
14. Third-Party Services
Services provided by third parties (including physiotherapists, clinics, or coaches) operate independently. Muscle Factory is not responsible for their advice, treatment, or outcomes.
15. Opening Hours & Closures
Opening hours may change with reasonable notice.
Muscle Factory reserves the right to close the facility temporarily for maintenance, repairs, events, or circumstances beyond its control. No refunds are issued for such closures.
16. Breach of Terms
Muscle Factory reserves the right to refuse entry, suspend access, or terminate membership without refund where these Terms & Conditions are breached.
17. Data Protection
Member data is stored securely and used solely for the administration of memberships and gym operations, in accordance with GDPR.
